It is very important to me to regularly show my cats, so I know that I am breeding high quality cats that meet the breed standard.
February saw our first show of the year, and in attendance we had Coolcoons Breakfast at Tiffanys (Pudge), and Coolcoons Tequila Sunrise (Sunny).

In March, we headed to Canberra with Coolcoons Breakfast at Tiffanys (Pudge), and Coolcoons Tequila Sunrise (Sunny) - the results for this show were via online platform, and I can't seem to find them now I'm updating this page (in August!).
April was a busy month, with three shows - two Cats NSW, and our first appearance at a Cats Australia show!
The first show was Ku-Ring-Gai cat club, and in attendance we had Coolcoons Breakfast at Tiffanys (Pudge), Coolcoons Tequila Sunrise (Sunny), and Coolcoons Royal Flush (Penny) for her first show at 12 weeks old. Sunny unfortunately made a mess of herself on the drive there, so did not place throughout the day.

We then attended Good Friday at the Royal Easter Show, with Coolcoons Breakfast at Tiffanys (Pudge). Judges names are not on the award card, and I can't quite recall who they were.

We also attended the show on Easter Saturday for our first Cats Australia experience, with Coolcoons Breakfast at Tiffanys (Pudge). Their show was run in a different format to what we were used to, but we had a fantastic time and Pudge had some incredible results (2 x 1st, 1 x 3rd in ring judging), as well as receiving Best Allbreeds Alter (desexed) in Show and 3rd Best Allbreeds Exhibit in Show under US judge and long time Maine Coon breeder Laura Cunningham!
The May show was back to our usual format, we took Coolcoons Breakfast at Tiffanys (Pudge), and Coolcoons Royal Flush (Penny). Judges names are again not on the award card, and my memory for that sort of thing is clearly terrible!
R1 - Pudge 2nd Top 5 Group 1 Desexed, and baby Penny received an honorary mention for 6th place (no mean feat as the youngster of the class!)

In June we attended Western Districts, which was the usual format, with the addition of each judge presenting their Top 10 Allbreeds exhibits in show at the end of the day. We took Coolcoons Breakfast at Tiffanys (Pudge), and Coolcoons Royal Flush (Penny).

Our August show outing took us to Canberra on 17th, it was a very fresh start! We took only Coolcoons Royal Flush (Penny) this time, and she did not disappoint, coming home with HUGE results for a 7 month old female.

In September we attended Armidale & New England CC "Country goes to the City" show. It was a huge day, with over 150 exhibits present, and 4 international judges. We took Coolcoons Breakfast at Tiffanys (Pudge), Coolcoons Royal Flush (Penny), and Dreamcoons Lavender Haze (Hazy).

Hazy did not place in Top 5 in amongst a large entry of 15 odd Group 1 kittens, but handled the day so well for her very first show, we are so proud of her.
To top off our day of already very pleasing results, Pudge then went on to be awarded 9th Best Exhibit in Show in R1, and Penny was also awarded 7th Best Exhibit in Show R1. Penny then shone once again, being awarded 2nd Best Exhibit in Show R3!

I was very pleased to see a young Penny (not quite 10 months old) place in amongst the entires at her first show in the "big kid" section. Hazy did not place in a lovely class of Group 1 kittens, though she did receive Kingsley Schmidtke's Judge's Choice award at the end of the day.
