Coolcoons Sunset In Spring attended her first show on February 18th, coming home with fantastic results. Ring 1 - Rossy Roberts-Thomson (CAT) - Reserve Best of Breed, 3rd Top 5 Ring 2 - Theresa Johnson (Cats NSW) - Best of Breed, Best Group 1 Kitten, Best Group 1 Exhibit & Supreme Allbreeds Exhibit in Show Ring 3 - Hazel Rossiter (Cats NSW) - Best of Breed, Best Group 1 Kitten Coolcoons Sunset In Spring attended the very first Forest Cat Specialty Show (consisting of only the 3 forest breeds - Maine Coon, Norwegian Forest Cat, Siberian) hosted by the Birman Cat Club of Canberra on May 20th. This was her last show as a kitten, and yet again she came home with wonderful results. Coolcoons Sunset In Spring attended her first adult show on July 1st, and outdid herself once again coming home with excellent results. Ring 1 - Marion Cooper (FCCQ) - Best of Breed, ACF Award of Excellence, Best Group 1 Entire & Best Group 1 Exhibit Ring 2 - Annette Joesbury (COAWA) - Best of Breed, ACF Award of Excellence, Best Group 1 Entire & Best Group 1 Exhibit Ring 3 - Tony Hurry (Cats NSW) - Best of Breed, ACF Award of Excellence, Best Group 1 Entire & Best Group 1 Exhibit She also obtained all 60 challenge points required to now be known as CHAMPION Coolcoons Sunset In Spring! CH Coolcoons Sunset In Spring attended her second adult show on July 15th (where there was a whopping 185 exhibits present!) - shining once again, coming home with very pleasing results. Ring 1 - Ellyn Honey (CFA USA) - Best of Breed, 3rd Top 5 Ring 2 - Chloe Chung (CFA USA) - Best of Breed, 2nd Top 5, 8TH BEST ALLBREEDS EXHIBIT IN SHOW Ring 3 - Douglas Myers (CFA USA) - Best of Breed, 1st Top 5, 2ND BEST ALLBREEDS EXHIBIT IN SHOW Sunny also gained 42 challenge points towards her Grand Champion title. CH Coolcoons Sunset In Spring attended her third adult show on August 12th, coming home with promising results. Ring 1 - Jane Slabbert (NZCF) - 5th Top 5 Ring 2 - Belinda Penglis (FCCQ) - 4th Top 5 Ring 3 - Hazel Rossiter (Cats NSW) - Best of Breed, ACF Award of Excellence, Best Group 1 Entire Sunny also gained the remaining 18 points required to now be known as GRAND CHAMPION Coolcoons Sunset In Spring - with a few left over towards her Double Grand Champion title! GD CH Coolcoons Sunset In Spring attended her fourth adult show on September 16th, again coming home with wonderful results. Ring 1 - Belinda Penglis (FCCQ) - Best of Breed, ACF Award of Excellence, Best Group 1 Entire Ring 2 - Jenny Weekes (Cats NSW) - Best of Breed, ACF Award of Excellence, Best Group 1 Entire Ring 3 - Tony Hurry (Cats NSW) - 4th Top 5 Sunny also gained a further 53 points towards her Double Grand Champion title. I attended the Cats NSW Cat of the Year awards lunch on November 18th. GD CH Coolcoons Sunset In Spring once again made me extremely proud - Sunny was awarded Best Group 1 Kitten of the Year, 2nd Group 1 Entire of the Year, AND Highest Point Scoring Group 1 Exhibit. |
