All breeding cats at Dreamcoons will be hip scored, and scanned via echocardiogram for HCM at around 12 months of age, and again every 18-24 months thereafter that they are part of our breeding program.

We welcomed Falcor from New Zealand on 17th April, and he has done nothing but purr, play, and demand love and cuddles since we picked him up from the airport. His personality is outstanding, he is a great size for his age, and his feet are enormous! We are beyond excited to see what he will produce in the future.
Falcor's DNA has been sent to Orivet early August - it can take up to 5 weeks to get results back!
More importantly, he will also be heart scanned, and hip scored when he is of age (mid December).
A massive thankyou to Zena Pigden and Elizabeth Currie of Shiningwater & Kittycourt Maine Coons for allowing this incredibly handsome boy to join our program as our first stud, we are eternally grateful, this boy is a true credit to your breeding.

We welcomed Snowdon on 7th April, from beautiful Tasmania, for a period of about 4 months. We are very grateful to Olly at VanDiamonds Maine Coons (and Delwyn, who bred Snowdon's mum) for allowing Snowdon to come and stay.
Snowdon has completed his "job" here as of mid July, and will be returning to Olly early August, pending confirmation of Hazy's pregnancy. He has been an absolute pleasure to have here, and we will be sad to see him go, he's become a bit of a staple sight in the cattery!
Snowdon is a big softie, he is such a gentle and loving boy.
Snowdon is DNA negative for the MYBPC3 gene, PKD, PKDef & SMA. Snowdon's heart has been scanned in May 2024 with a normal/clear result. Snowdon had his second heart scan on 22/05/2026, with cardiologist specialst Dr Mariko Yata, with a normal/clear result. Snowdon's hips have been scored, with an excellent result.
Snowdon went home on 8th August - we already miss you, buddy!
